Bathroom

Ahhhh..the pink bathroom. Pink; no more. We did a complete overhaul! New sub floor, floor, paint, sink, toilet, towel racks, mirror,........

One afternoon, Bob went into the bathroom and moments later yelled for me. He heard a cracking sound (like rotting wood) and felt like he sank a little...so I went into the basement to investigate......

What I saw verified Bob's fears...the toilet had a slow leak and was starting to compromise the integrity of the wood / floor! This simply would not do! We had Tripp's 1 year birthday coming up in a matter of weeks and tons of guests scheduled to join in the fun - we could not risk a toilet falling trough the floor incident!

Time to get to work!
1) remove the old toilet - check!

2) expose cool old wallpaper - hidden behind the toilet tank

3) figure out exactly how many layers of floor exist

5) remove floor coverings

6) Remove rotted sub-floor

7) cutting new boards to "marry" to existing supports and create more bracing....

8) Sub-floor pieces

Yup, it'll hold

New sub floor - check!

Remove the sink

Paint the walls

Check!

Prime floor - check!

Lay out "peal & stick tiles"

Do we need a caption?
